David T. Schaefer, CLP

Mr. Schaefer is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Orion First Financial, LLC which was established in 2001 as a small ticket, commercial equipment lease servicer and advisor. Dave has over thirty years of experience in the commercial equipment leasing industry, including senior management responsibility for treasury, operations, information technology, accounting and portfolio management. David’s leadership position with Orion includes his direct participation in providing advisory services to lenders, lessors and equipment manufacturers regarding portfolio acquisitions, debt placement, lease administration and portfolio management. He has been involved in both prime and sub-prime markets and is exceptionally experienced in dealing with all aspects of portfolio and collection management. Prior to establishing Orion he was President and a member of the Board of Directors of a major U.S. lease company. Dave also founded Checkmate Certified Collections In 1975, a consumer and commercial collection agency.

Dave is presently active with the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association (ELFA) and currently serves on the ELFA Board of Directors. Prior to this, he served on the Board of Directors of the United Association of Equipment Lessors, now the National Equipment Finance Association. He chaired the Small Ticket Business Council of the ELFA in 1999 and 2000. He obtained his CLP certification in 1996, making him one of the industry's earliest Certified Leasing Professionals. Dave currently serves on the Gig Harbor YMCA Advisory Board and the Tacoma Pierce County Habitat for Humanity Finance Committee.

Dave and his wife Barbie live in Gig Harbor, WA and they have four children. They enjoy camping, traveling, kayaking and baseball.


Shannon M. Green, CLP

Ms. Green is Senior Vice President, Credit and Operations Officer with Orion First Financial, LLC. She joined Orion in March 2003. As a key member of the company's senior management team, Shannon is responsible for overall business operations, including management and administration of Orion banking relationships, business operating policies, procedures, organization, staffing and human resources. As part of the Orion officer group, Ms. Green participates in strategic planning and implementation management for key revenue growth, portfolio management and business development initiatives.

Shannon has over 20 years experience in the leasing industry. Prior to joining Orion, Shannon was Vice President of Operations with Financial Pacific Leasing, responsible for the direction of credit, funding, syndication and customer service. Shannon was also Project Manager for the development and implementation of an innovative web-based, automated credit system at Financial Pacific that yielded dramatic improvements in credit service and operating efficiencies.

Shannon is a Certified Lease Professional and lives in Tacoma, WA with her husband and two children.


Zachary A. Marsh, CLP

Mr. Marsh is the Vice President, Chief Financial Officer with Orion First Financial, LLC. He joined Orion in November, 2001 and currently directs accounting, tax and information technology functions for the company. Mr. Marsh has over ten years of experience in commercial equipment leasing, including experience with operations, portfolio management and credit/syndications functions. Mr. Marsh is responsible for audit compliance including Orion’s financial, tax and SAS 70 audits. He facilitates the acquisition of portfolio servicing contracts for Orion, including valuation, documentation and closing negotiations as well as oversight of funding and the initial portfolio transition process. He also manages Orion’s banking relationships and works with Orion’s legal council to prepare new client agreements and related documentation requirements. Prior to joining Orion, Mr. Marsh was a financial analyst with Financial Pacific Leasing, where he designed and maintained management level reports.

Zack has been involved with the UAEL and ELFA. He is a Certified Leasing Professional and has a BA from Washington State University where he focused his studies in business and information technology.

Zack lives with his wife and two daughters in Puyallup, WA. Zack enjoys softball and camping with his family.


Grant R. Smith
Mr. Smith is Vice President, Portfolio Services Manager for Orion First Financial, LLC. He directs portfolio account services including collections, asset management, recovery and litigation. Prior to joining Orion in July 2006, Grant served for fourteen years as a senior administrator for a non-profit organization. Grant also brings twenty years experience in management and executive management in retailing, including Vice President for Operations and Director of Corporate Development for a regional retail firm with annual revenues in excess of $45 million. His responsibilities included all aspects of contract development, human resource management, labor contract negotiations, transportation agreements, supplier pricing, security, internal work flow, and other core retail practices.

Grant has served on the board of directors for two retail companies and has been a member of Rotary International in Washington and Alaska, Chairman for the Employer Committee for Alaska Job Service in Ketchikan, Member and Flotilla Commander for the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary.

Grant and his Wife Karen live in Gig Harbor, WA. They have three children and enjoy spending time with their family members and fishing in Alaska.


Mark Y. Okinaka
Mr. Okinaka is Assistant Vice President, Controller with Orion First Financial, LLC. He is responsible for the preparation of financial statements and deliverables to Orion’s clients, and supporting the company and its departments with ancillary financial tracking and reporting requirements. Prior to joining Orion in June 2007, Mark spent five years as Manager of Budgeting and Forecasting at NBC Universal. He also worked for Latham & Watkins, Ernst & Young, Boeing, and served in the US Army.

Mark holds a BA in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from the University of Washington. He currently lives in Tacoma, WA, where he enjoys watching Mariners baseball and any Washington Husky sporting event.


Brita L. Storaasli, CLP

Mrs. Storaasli is Assistant Vice President, Funding and Syndications Manager for Orion First Financial, LLC. She joined Orion in December 2003. Brita’s past experience includes her role as Funding Supervisor with Financial Pacific Leasing. Brita’s perspective, knowledge and experience has enabled her to model and refine the Orion approach to customer service including listening carefully to our clients and providing individual solutions for their needs. She ensures competent, professional and courteous service for Orion’s clients and their customers.

Brita is a graduate of the University of Washington where she earned her Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. She has been a Certified Lease Professional since 2001. Brita lives in Orting, WA with her husband and two children, and enjoys spending time with her family.


Lorren D. Dalesky

Mr. Dalesky is the Senior Collections Specialist, Collection Manager for Orion First Financial, LLC. He joined Orion in October 2001 and is also the lead collector for the Special Assets Department. Mr. Dalesky has over 25 years of collection experience in leasing and third-party consumer collections, acting in various senior collection positions. He has managed various aspects of collections throughout his career. His superior technical skills and strong professional commitment to obtaining the best results for our clients is proven in each portfolio's performance. Mr. Dalesky is the key contact with clients regarding collection matters.

Lorren resides with his wife and two daughters in Gig Harbor, WA. He is active in softball, basketball and enjoys camping with his family.
