Increase Assets
More and more banks are finding that a profitable method to deploy their assets is to fund the growing demand for commercial equipment leases. More companies, particularly small companies, acquire new productive equipment through leases than through loans. According to the Equipment Leasing Association, of the $697 billion spent by American businesses on productive assets in 2001, $216 billion, or 31 percent, was acquired through leasing. Banks funded 38% of this volume. The challenge facing many banks today is simply devising and executing a strategy that capitalizes on this growth opportunity.
Orion will work with your bank in breaking down the barriers to this growing market by offering:
- Access to lessors and originators that originate a flow of leases that can be funded by your bank.
- Access to existing portfolios being offered for sale with complete risk analysis.
- Expertise in administration, servicing and collections and workouts.

Making the right credit decisions, documenting transactions correctly and managing the collection process all lead to reduced risk and positive results. Orion can provide the expertise to help make your efforts successful.
